This shoot was a relaxed discovery shoot, no plan... just seeing what we could come up with.
The peach came first. Standing, half against the wall, light coming flat through the old diamond panes. She wasn't holding a pose, just holding herself, arms crossed, hair down her back, looking off at nothing. The dried flowers were the only prop she reached for. There's a stretch where she's just turning them over in her hands, not for the shot, just dreaming.
Then the blue. Sheer over the window, the whole room going cooler. She sat in the light and let it come through the fabric, and later sat in it with nothing at all, head back, eyes closed. Just a body in a quiet room on a grey afternoon, thinking about whatever she was thinking about.
Not sexual. Not really about being looked at. More like catching someone in a moment they'd have had whether the camera was there or not.
