FOR PEOPLE WHO WANT TO SEE THEMSELVES DIFFERENTLY

You're thinking about doing a boudoir shoot. Maybe you've seen images somewhere and thought, that could be me. Or a friend told you about it. Or you just want to spend an hour feeling good about yourself.

This isn't about performing or pretending. It's about you, alone in a space, feeling safe and comfortable, while I photograph who you actually are when nobody's watching.

WHAT HAPPENS DURING A SESSION

You arrive with a few outfits you've thought about beforehand. We talk through the order, we start with something that feels easy, something that lets you settle in. As you get more comfortable, we can try things that feel more exposed, more vulnerable. There's no rush. The whole thing is about an hour, but it doesn't feel fast.

I'll give you something to think about and something to do. Then I'll be quiet and let it happen. You're not posing for me, you're moving through a moment, checking yourself out, feeling yourself, existing in the space. If I notice something small that could shift, I'll mention it. But mostly, it's collaborative. If you have an idea, we try it.

The pace is slower than you might expect. That's intentional. It gives you time to settle, and it gives me time to see you.

WHAT YOU GET

You receive all your images at full resolution. Download them, print them, make an album, do whatever you want with them. They're yours.

I'll also create a blog post featuring some of the images from your shoot. You'll see it first, the images in context, with writing. You approve what goes public. Anything you don't approve stays between us. Once you approve a set, I'm free to use those images going forward on my website and social media. Anything outside that set is yours alone.

You'll have your gallery within a week, usually sooner.

THINGS PEOPLE WONDER ABOUT

What should I wear?

We talk about this beforehand. Bring a few options, lingerie, a robe, a slip, a shirt, whatever feels right to you. Textures and fabrics matter more than style. We'll figure out the order together, starting easy and building from there. If you're unsure, I can guide you.

Will you actually guide me? I don't know what to do.

Yes. I'll tell you what to think about and what to do. You don't need to know how to pose or what to do with your hands. I'm here to help you find moments that feel real. Most people are surprised how natural it feels once you get going.

Where does this happen?

At my place in Hamilton. It's a garage studio space, private, comfortable, with a mirror so you can check yourself if you want to.

What about privacy? Who sees my images?

You own your images. Full stop. I don't publish anything without your approval first. The images I want to share go into a blog post, you see them in context, you decide yes or no. If you say no, I don't use them. If you're worried about your identity showing, we can shoot some images without your face, or talk through what you're comfortable with before we start. The goal is that you approve everything that goes public.

I'm getting nervous. What if I want to cancel?

This happens. People get cold feet, especially the day before or the morning of. That's normal. Here's what I know: once you're in the space and we start, it almost always feels different than you expected. Better. Easier. But if you're genuinely not feeling it, we can reschedule. No drama.

The best thing you can do is tell me beforehand if you're worried about something specific, your body, your identity, how exposed you want to be. We'll work around it. There's always a way to get images that you feel good about.
