portrait PHOTOGRAPHY
FOR CREATIVE PEOPLE WITH A VISION
You have something in mind. An idea, a theme, a character, an experience you want captured. You've seen work you like and you want something in that direction. You're not looking for a generic portrait, you're looking for a photographer who gets it.
That's what this is. We collaborate. You bring the vision, I bring the craft. Together we make something better than either of us could do alone. And it'll be unmistakably you.
HOW IT WORKS
Before we shoot, we talk. A lot. What's the idea, what's the feeling, what are the practical things we need to figure out, location, wardrobe, time. I need to understand what you're bringing so I can meet it and elevate it.
Shoot day, we arrive and go over logistics quickly. Then we start. I'll direct you in my style, give you things to feel and do, and photograph what happens. If you have a specific image in mind, we nail that too. There's room for both. As we go, I'm adding character, adding your specific flavor to the vision, personalizing it to who you actually are.
One hour is typical, though it depends on what we're doing. You get all the good images.
WHAT YOU GET
You receive all your images from the session, download them, print them, share them however you want. They're yours.
You get your gallery within a week, usually sooner.
If you want prints or an album made, I can do that too. Most people just take the digital files, but the option's there.

THINGS PEOPLE WONDER ABOUT
What if I have a very specific image I want?
Great. Tell me what it is. We'll make that happen. And then we'll explore beyond it and see what else shows up. Best portraits come from having a starting point and then letting it breathe.
What if I'm not sure exactly what I want?
We figure it out together. Tell me what's drawing you, what feeling you're going for, what you've seen that inspires you. I'll ask questions, we'll explore, and by the time we shoot, you'll know what we're doing.
What kind of locations do you work in?
Anywhere. Nature, studio, indoors, outdoors, hired spaces, your backyard. It depends on what the shoot needs. We'll figure it out together based on the vision and what's practical.
Can I bring reference images?
Absolutely. Bring whatever inspires you, whatever you want me to see. That's helpful. Just know that we're not reproducing those images exactly, we're using them as a starting point for something that's uniquely yours.
What if this is my first time doing something like this?
Even better. You'll be surprised what happens when you let yourself try
