VINTAGE PHOTOGRAPHY
FOR PEOPLE FROM ANOTHER ERA
You're into vintage. The style, the era, the whole feel of it. Maybe you've shot with me before and you know how this goes. Maybe this is your first time and you're a little nervous. Either way, you're in the right place.
This isn't classic pin-up, pose after pose in front of a coloured backdrop. This is something different. Lifestyle vintage. You're a person from that era, having your portrait made, natural but glamorous, with all the heritage and feeling of the age.
WHAT HAPPENS
We pick a location and agree on everything before the day. Vintage works best outdoors, so we'll find somewhere that suits the era and the look you're going for.
On the day, I'll set you up in scenarios. I'll give you prompts about the scene you're in and how you're feeling, get you grounded in it, then give you things to do. You're not holding stiff poses. You're inhabiting a moment, being a person from that time rather than a model performing.
It's relaxed. Most people leave understanding their own taste and style a bit better than when they arrived. About an hour, and you get all the good images.
If you want to try some classic vintage poses too, that's fine. This is a collaboration. But what I'll be directing you toward is something more alive than the standard pin-up shot.
WHAT YOU GET
You receive all your images from the session, download them, print them, share them however you want. They're yours.
You get your gallery within a week, usually sooner.
If you want prints or an album made, I can do that too. Most people just take the digital files, but the option's there.

PRICE - $150
That's it. One hour, all the images.

Will I look good?
Look through my work on the website. You'll probably recognise a few faces from the vintage community. If they look good to you, that's exactly how you'll look. I photograph real people, and they leave loving their images.
What do I do? I don't know how to pose.
That's my job. I'll set up scenarios, tell you the scene you're in and how you're feeling, and give you things to do. You don't need to know poses or what to do with your hands. I'll guide you through the whole thing.
What should I wear?
Whatever era and style you love. Authentic vintage, reproduction, a swing skirt and big hair, whatever speaks to you. We'll talk it through before the shoot so we're on the same page.
What if I want vintage lingerie or a glamour look?
That's closer to a boudoir shoot, so have a look at my boudoir page. Same idea, just a different setting and wardrobe. If you're not sure which fits, get in touch and we'll figure it out.
Is this good for a first-timer?
Yes. A lot of the people I shoot are stepping into this for the first time. It's relaxed, there's no pressure, and I'll guide you the whole way.
