You're getting married. The last thing you want is to spend the day posing for photos while you miss your own wedding.

I photograph weddings the way I photograph families. Quietly. You won't see me much. I'll be in the right places at the right time, catching what's actually happening, the real moments, the genuine feeling, the stuff you'll want to remember.

The only time we work together directly is during your couple portraits. That's it. The rest of the day, I'm documenting you, your family and your friends. You're just having an epic day.

WHAT HAPPENS

I arrive before things get busy and start with getting ready, people doing their makeup, getting dressed, the small moments before it all starts. I'm just there, camera in hand.

During the ceremony, I'm positioned to see what's happening. During the reception, I'm moving around, catching the toasts, the dancing, the laughter, people being themselves.

Your couple portraits happen either early (after you're ready, before guests arrive) or after ceremony, and hopefully later (at golden hour, away from the crowd for 15 minutes). You choose. My preference is to break it up into a couple of quick sessions. That way you're not gone for hours and your guests aren't waiting around.

During portraits, I'll give you things to do. Walk together, hold hands, kiss her, give her a twirl. You're not posing, you're doing things together while I photograph what happens. It's usually easier and feels more natural than you'd expect.

The whole day feels low-key. There's no big production, no standing around waiting for me to set up lights or positions. Just you, your people, and me in the background capturing it.

WHAT YOU GET

You receive all your images from the day, typically 400+ photos. Download them, print them, share them however you want. That's yours.

You get everything within a week.

ON ALBUMS

Most couples tell me they're going to make an album themselves. Then life happens, and they never do. It's a massive amount of work. I can build a beautiful album very quickly, I have the tools and do it regularly. If you want that handled, let me know and we'll sort it out. Otherwise, you've got your digital gallery and you can print however you like.
